Aloha Maui

Yes!!! I'm going to Maui for work and pleasure! Mr B is coming with me too. He loves to golf and we will be golfing there.... I love to scuba dive, but Mr. B is afraid of water. Hopefully, I can get him into the water and do some snorkeling with me. And if he seems to be OK with the open water, I may ask him to join me for a dive :-)

I'll be in Maui for 1.5 weeks - staying in various hotels... Last time I was in Maui was in 2006.. or may be 2004. I can't remember. I have limited pictures since I was busy driving the car... so now, Mr B will drive, and I'll be clicking away. Yay! I guess this can qualify as our honeymoon #201!

Fillet-o-fish so expensive...

Today I had Fillet-o-fish from McD. It costs me $4.26 (plus tax). That is around $4.70 for a small sandwich. What happened to the affordable 99cent fillet-o-fish day? Then I looked at the menu and say double cheese burger for $1.26. HhhMmmmm cheaper than fillet-o-fish.... So instead of getting 2 fillet-o-fish, I ended up getting 1 fillet-o-fish and 1 double cheese burger.

BTW McD is not one of my usual for lunch. Not sure why I was craving for fillet-o-fish today. But, guess what??? It was so damn good! I've eaten fillet-o-fish all over the world, and I can tell you that it tasted almost the same everywhere! The soft bun... the tangy tartar sauce, and the best of all... the fish fillet itself!

I wish today is Friday

I had a doctor's appointment today. Everything went well, except that I have to take more pills... adding to 9 pills that I have to take daily... Now I will have 13 pills! Oh well, got to do what I got to do!

BTW I woke up with a strong headache and I felt like falling sick. After shower, I took 2 Aleve and voila, I am fine now. I am not sure about tomorrow - because if it happens again, I will just stay on the bed and sleep it off!

OOoOooo and another thing, I got a call from someone that I knew way back... It was nice to hear his voice and to catch on things. 

Huh!!! Pretty boring day!!!

Toro.. oh Toro!

I'm craving for this wonderful toro from Sapporo! Thinking of the first time I ate sushi - real sushi - not the California roll with the imitation crab... I had my first real sushi in LA, at a  place called "Chiba" in 2006. I got hooked to sushi since then... and I will go to the same sushi place at least once a week... until 2008.

I'm sure you are wondering what happened???

I went with Dave that night. Just 2 of us... sitting at the counter, served by the owner... Shiggy. Trust me, he is a good sushi chef, but at times he has some issues respecting his customers. And at times, he pick and choose who he would treat nicely, and who he would jeer when the customer is not looking! A bit of an ass I shall say... (at times though)

To cut the story short, I ordered one of my favorite rolls there, the crunchy shrimp... and the chef sent out something different from what I usually get. I told the chef, hey, this is not what I ordered... and he looked at me and said (almost yelled), you don't know what you ordered! Hmmm... excuse me, I've been there for years... every week, and he said I don't know what I ordered! By then he got a bit rude and saying things like, I don't know what I'm talking about... and what he made was exactly what I ordered. He also said that he knows how to make good sushi and I don't know what good sushi is.... hhmmmm... BTW it is nothing to do whether the sushi is good or not... it was simply... not what I want! And, if I do not know what good sushi is, I won't be coming back again and again to his place. Unless what he was trying to say that his sushi is bad... hhehehehe

Since that day, I never went back there.

A secret...

Not really! If I'm blogging it... it won't be a secret anymore. Oh well... I just feel like ranting it out!

I just started working at my new job... a year and few months now. I left a very comfy job to this more exciting opportunity. Right now, I am doubting myself... what should I do????

Old Blogs.. New Blog

OMG I think I have too many old blogs. But the one that I love the most is the blog that I had in 2005-2008. I can't believe how open I was back then... writing all the personal stories in there! I wish I had continue the blog... but of course I got lazy!

BTW it's around 6.10pm here. Time to go home... but before I do that, I just want to say hello again to the blog world! I promise... promiseeeee that I will update my blog (this blog).

2nd Post

Ha! A post - a year! Perfect! At least I can tell ppl that I have a blog! And please follow my blog because there'll be not much to read! Save you time and you can do other things than wasting your time on the internet.

BTW I feel like dedicating my blog to the travels that I do/did. So... I will try (harder) to write on the places and things that happened. So ladies and gents... sit back and enjoy the ride!
